How long does shipping take?
Every Silk Tales product takes 2 to 4 business days to prepare before it ships (depends on product availability). You will receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order leaves our workshop.
What is your return policy?
Every Silk Tales piece is made to be treasured, and we want you to love yours. Each scarf and pair of earrings is crafted with care and caution, so if a piece ever falls short of the quality you expect, we're happy to make it right — with an exchange or store credit, so you can find the piece that feels truly yours. As permitted by law, hygiene-sensitive items (such as earrings) are excluded from returns.
Are your products really silk?
Yes — genuinely. Our scarves are woven from real silk, a tradition that has defined Soufli for over 150 years. Our earrings are made from real silk cocoons, hand-painted in our own workshop. No synthetics, no imitations.
How do I care for my silk scarf?
Your scarf is made to be worn and loved, and caring for it is simple. When it needs a refresh, hand wash it in cool water with a few drops of mild detergent or a silk-specific wash — never hot water, and never wring or twist the fabric. Gently press the water out and lay it flat on a clean towel to dry, away from direct sunlight. If you prefer, dry cleaning is always a safe choice. To remove creases, iron on a low setting with a cloth between the iron and the silk, so the silk and its printed design stay protected. With a little care, your scarf will keep its colour and softness for years.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on your destination. Every order is carefully packed to protect your silk on its journey to you.

What are silk cocoon earrings?
Silk cocoon earrings are lightweight earrings crafted from real silk cocoons — the natural casing a silkworm spins. Each cocoon is carefully prepared, then hand-painted with original designs in our own workshop, making every pair unique and feather-light to wear.
Are silk cocoon earrings lightweight?
Very. Because they're made from natural silk cocoons, they're remarkably light — you'll barely feel them. They're comfortable for all-day wear and gentle even on sensitive ears.
Where does Silk Tales originate from?
Silk Tales is a small Greek workshop in Didymoteicho, Evros, working with genuine silk woven in Soufli — the historic home of Greek silk, where sericulture has been practised for over 150 years. Our scarves are woven from genuine Soufli silk, and our earrings are hand-painted in our own workshop.
Are the earrings hand-painted?
Yes. Every pair of Silk Tales earrings is hand-painted in our workshop — no two pairs are exactly alike. Each design is inspired by nature, art, and Greek tradition.
